This luxury villa for rent in Mykonos stands on the seafront edge of Agios Lazaros, inside a private, gate-controlled estate of eleven houses set above Psarou. The villa faces south-west across the water towards Delos and Rhenea, so the view runs to the horizon and the light turns gold as the sun drops behind the islands.
Its position is sheltered from the Meltemi winds, which means the terraces stay calm and usable on days when the rest of the island is exposed. Built into the slope in local stone, the house steps down to the water over broad flagstone terraces. From the first evening, the sea and the sky do most of the work.
Villa ASL-9 sleeps twelve guests across six bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The master occupies the upper level, with a super-king bed, a private balcony over the water and a bathroom fitted with a Jacuzzi. Two bedrooms sit on the pool level: one has its own private entrance and bathroom, the other is a suite with a sofa, an en-suite and direct access to the terrace.
The remaining rooms are laid out on the ground floor in twin configurations, which works well for families or groups travelling together. Throughout, the interiors carry the hand of designer Alberto Pinto, whose white upholstery and softly curved walls follow the island’s Cycladic lines and hold the eye on the sea beyond the glass.
At the center of the outdoor space is an 83 square-meter infinity pool that runs towards the Aegean, its far edge appearing to fall away into the water below. The deck offers both sun and shade through the day, with sun loungers, an outdoor dining area and a BBQ set for long lunches and slow evenings.
As the light fades, this becomes the natural place to gather, with the sunset over Delos filling the western sky and the sea a two-minute walk away, still inside the estate. Mornings belong to the water, evenings to the deck.
Indoors, an open-plan kitchen flows into the living and dining rooms, where a fireplace anchors the space and the sea view carries through every window. Comforts are handled quietly across the estate: daily complimentary maid service, Wi-Fi, satellite television and Netflix, along with back-up generators and a desalination plant that keep power and water steady through the island’s occasional shortages.
Guests also have use of a private jetty and helipad, while chefs, butlers and additional catering can be arranged on request. Secure parking sits at the property, and the infinity pool can be heated for a fee.
Agios Lazaros sits between Psarou and Ornos, two of the island’s most sheltered swimming beaches. Nammos, the beach club at Psarou, is around 2.5 km from the gate, with Scorpios a short drive further along the south coast and the waterfront tavernas of Little Venice, in Mykonos Town, roughly 4.5 km on. Delos, the ancient island in view across the channel, ranks among Greece’s most important archaeological sites and lies a short boat trip away.
Mykonos Town and the airport are each about 11 minutes by car, the new port around 14 minutes, and Ornos beach 3.5 km from the estate. The nearest supermarket and petrol station are within 2.5 km.

*BOOKING : A deposit of 30% of the property rental must be paid by Bank Transfer and the outstanding balance must be received 45 days prior to check-in date
If the booking takes place 21 days prior to arrival the full accommodation amount must be paid in advance.
*A security deposit is equal to one day rental and must be settled before the beginning of the tenancy, to cover the cost of any damage to the property or its contents during the term of rental.
The deposit can be paid with the balance of the reservation or with cash at the time of check-in directly to the owner.
Cash deposits will be handed back to the guest at the end of the rental period once the owner has had an opportunity to assess the condition of the property.
